Dear Camp Families,

It is with great sorrow to announce that Champions Day Camp will not be operating in 2012.  As of January 1st, 2012 Champions Day Camp and the Lakeway Resort and Spa ended our long running partnership. We had five great years at our first home and each summer was more magical than the last.

Since then we have aggressively worked to find another location for this year, but we did not find a location that was suitable for our needs and would meet everyone’s expectations.  As a part of Camp Champions our goal has always been to offer the highest quality camp experience for all participants and we want only the best for our day camp.  Therefore we will not operate the day camp this coming summer.  We are still actively searching for a permanent home however with the goal of restarting camp in 2013.

I would highly recommend as an option to all camp families to learn about Camp Champions.  My experience with our day campers is that many are more than ready for an adventure of a lifetime this summer.  If you call, please tell them Darren Sir sent you. Please visit www.CampChampions.com or call 830-598-2571.

Let me take a moment to thank all of our camp families.  It was a great great summer in 2011 and it was my privilege to lead such a wonderful day camp program.  I know that Champions Day Camp has been a big part of summer for our camp families and I’m so sad that we will not be a part of this summer.  We will however do everything we can to be operating again in 2013 and playing some serious GAGA all summer long.
